I’ve been teaching for over 20 years now, which is hard to believe. I’ve taught 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades, but I’ve spent most of my time in Kindergarten. I currently teach for a large public school district in the midwest.

I won Teacher of the Year in 2024. You can trust me to bring you resources and tips that are research-backed and give proven results!

Having fun in the classroom makes things better…
We spend hours and hours with our students. If things get boring, they won’t pay attention. Finding resources that are truly fun and engaging helps my students to not lose interest!
We want to give our best! Our job is serious and important. I teach kids to read, and if I fail, it means major consequences for my sweet little students. The resources I choose must be research-based so I know I am giving them the best opportunities to succeed.
