Do you love to make hats with your students as much as I do? Crowns are always a hit! I used to make a Pete the Cat crown on the first day of school, but now I have switched to a more personal idea.
These “Welcome to Kindergarten” crowns are so much fun! Using Adobe, you enter your student names in a chart. It goes quickly! Then the names autofill into the document. Super simple to use!
For simplicity I usually just have my students glue their work onto a sentence strip. I measure and staple and it goes very quickly. However, this set also comes with back bands if you want to do things that way.
Using personalized crowns is good for a lot of reasons!
